Bill, if you jump into Google Maps, type in the name of the place then shift from map to sat view, you will be able to see all.
It's the boondockers pal.

B - BeardownAZExplorerThe Gila Box is nice for desertcamping. So is an area right across the NM line in AZ called BlackJack campground. It has outhouses. But its in ponderosa pines and junipers, if that matters. Both areas are about 1.5 to 2 hr drive east of Tucson.

Bill, you'll fare better here if you refer to our city as Tucson. :)
Thanks! Coming out of NM, I'm surprised how much is closed and lacking signs in AZ
Will check out the Tuscan areas mentioned above; also thE Gil's Box
Thanks!

Look 'em up, lots of possibilities.
Currently at Sentinel Peak RV Park, Tucson, AZ - Mandalay_ParrExplorerMight check out Parker and Lake Havasu City. Both on the Colorado river.
Why not pick a nice RV park with full hookups? - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIIf you want true boondocking (no outhouse, I don't believe) here is a place at Tucson and it's near the great hiking of Tucson Mountain Park.
