My last stay in the area was the Milton, FL. KOA. Its east of downtown Pensacola(no noise), but a 20 mile straight shot down SR 87 to Navarre Beach on Santa Rosa Island. No traffic, so its a 15 minute drive. FHUs including WIFI and Cable. Newspaper at your door each morning. Nice folks running the place.
There's also Oak Grove Military FamCamp on the beach inside NAS Pensacola. Very close to the Naval Aviation Museum on base and open to the public (The museum, not the FamCamp). If the Blue Angels are still allowed to fly and they're in town, they practice behind the museum and there are bleachers behind the museum for vistors.
