You are exactly right! That’s what I’ve run into.....it’s 750 miles to everywhere I’d like to go. We have a wedding to attend or we’d just do it anyway. Eagles Nest does save is a hundred miles and gives us a chance to go by our daughters home in OKC on the way so it is where we’re heading. You guys never fail to get me on the right track. I’ve been to Fort Davis and love the area, the observatory and vibe of west Texas. Thanks again to everyone who weighed in. Any additional thoughts on Eagle’s Nest and area, please share.
