Redwood National Park

We have been digging for a few hours now....looked at Orick, Klamath & Crescent. But, have not found one with 50 amps and good reviews. The Motorhome is 40'.

DENNIS: I was just reading your post to my hubby and he says, "Oh, Dennis...I know him!" I said, "REALLY?!?!" LOL! He says, "I'm mean I read his blogs and post all the time!" (He's a STALKER! lol)

You don't say how big your rig is, but we enjoyed Klamath RV Park...nice grassy sites along the Klamath River...about a 15 minute drive to RNP. Also, if this is your first time there, download the tour guide book from HERE before you go.

Whether you're coming from the north or the south, be sure to stop by the Avenue of the Giants. We stayed at the Ancient Redwoods RV Park in Redcrest. Great park, right on the Avenue of the Giants. Easy access with a big rig and all the raspberries you can eat.....Dennis

Take a look at Camper Corral We stayed there in August 2014. While we don't have a big rig we did see some there.

Sites are wide, restrooms/showers are older but clean. There is even an on-site pizzeria. Place/pay for your order in the office and they will deliver to your site. We heard it was good but did not try it.

We also saw folks with some good sized salmon they caught in the Klamath River. Oh and there are black bears along the river fishing too.

If enough time in the area to do a little exploring the Drury scenic drive is good for seeing some beautiful redwoods. Fern Canyon is a beautiful afternoon walk/hike. Trees of Mystery is definitely touristy but very interesting.
