Would you expect the driver to do anything more than drive?? Things like finding campgrounds, setting up the rig, connecting and dumping the tanks, cooking meals, doing housecleaning?? Do you want a man or woman, or does it matter?? And who will get the bedroom? How about age?? Will you be paying the expenses?? will the driver have to have their own source of income?? We have met a number of folks over the years that might be interested as drivers under the right conditions. A few even own their own rigs.
IMHO, these are GREAT questions!
Maybe clarifying what kind of fellow traveler you would like ideally will help?
1. Tour guide. They handle it all, you pay the expenses, they get free travel and share in the adventure, possibly in their RV.
2. Heavy lifting. They come along, share responsibilities, split expenses, but for whatever reasons, they will have to handle the heavy lifting, technical "RV stuff" and whatever. (We have a good friend with MS and she would be in this category, for example)
3. Company. You don't really feel like tackling this alone and don't want to wait until you get 3 years RV experience before you feel comfortable enough to strike out on your own.
I've just tossed these ideas out there, maybe they fit, maybe not.
I could see an Adventurer for case 1. Experienced and equipped, get more affordable travel by splitting the costs and share the adventure.
Full-timer for case 2. Been out for a while, would like to do some different things, share some adventures with nice people, already accustomed to doing all the "RV stuff" and can handle pretty much anything that comes up on the road.
Student or young person, or even widowed/divorced. Ready to go, but safer and more fun with a small group.
Just some things to stir the "Thought Pot" maybe even of someone thinking about your offer ;)
