Rental and or driver needed in Va

Hello, We're a middle aged couple looking for a safe travel buddy that would be interested in splitting the costs of renting a rv. If you can drive one that's great. If not, we'll need to hire a driver. If you already have a rv, we can chip-in/pay for travel costs. We would like to visit different locations near the Appalachian mountains in Va and possibly visit West Va. and Maybe Gettysburg, Md too. We enjoy nature and exploring. We are not experienced rv drivers and really need a break. Hoping to travel asap and even more this Fall.

    I wish you well and hope your dreams come to fruition. However, I would not, under any circumstances, consider Rving with a complete stranger. Mighty small space to share 24/7 with someone you know nothing about. Good luck to you.

    Don't know if this would be of any interest, but plenty of times a couple of people will travel together as a group, with each having their own RV/camper.

    An RV is a small space to share for an extended time. Not impossible, though ;)

    Good luck, it sounds like you're heading for quite the adventure!

    I wouldn't be surprised if a full timer had an interest.
    This thread has already started in this forum but you might be able to ask a moderator to move it to the full timing forum.

    You're telling us you can't drive a class c size camper? Wow

    You think you've got the right to criticize someone because of their choices? Wow.

    The negativity on here is mind-boggling. In less that two minutes I found the following links:

    The last link is an RV transport company but it's possible they may have drivers who will do what you want or may know someone. Just make sure you ask how the drivers are vetted-background checks, references, etc. Also, Gettysburg is in PA, not MD (but not all that far away).

    In the 12 years I've been on this Forum, someone occasionally posts a request similar to yours.
    In all that time, I have never seen anyone take up the offer nor have I read of it ever going anywhere.

    Nearly everyone here has their own RV and have no interest in such an arrangement.
    I think you'll have a hard time, on any RV forum, finding someone who would have any interest.

    Why can't you two drive a smaller rented motorhome? It's not that hard and then no stranger would be needed.
