Wondered why it was so hard...impossible...to get sites this year.
That's $ 240.00 a night.
I also emailed the State Park.
Now I understand why I can never get a site.
This has been tried before, many times over the years, but the real reason you can't get sites is:
It is simple math:
1. Number of State Parks in the Florida Keys: 4
2. Number of RV sites available in all 4 parks added together: 221
3. Number of Tent only sites. (Can’t be used for RV’s): 30
4. Number of people from all over the country that want to camp in the Keys in the winter?
Lots and a Lots and Lots!!
