Weather fluctuates everywhere.
I'm currently on vacation in Colombia, South America. The weather doesn't fluctuate much here at the Equator. All year round it's either Summer or Spring or Winter depending on what elevation you are at. But that doesn't help RV snowbirds much.- TomG2ExplorerWeather fluctuates everywhere. The funny thing that I notice in the Rio Grande Valley is that it is always, "Going to be great in three days" that the weather people promise. I get it, we all like to see the area prosper.

Yes, for me it's kinda special. My uncle never talked about the war, but when he and I were next to my Dad during Hospice I told him how proud my Dad was of him and how he sent me an article about my Uncle in WWII.
He then proceeded to tell me how he showed up at Iwo Jima on day two. Everyone around him was getting killed or wounded. Nothing but carnage, but it was like he was in a bubble, never even got a scratch.
Every time I drive past that statue, I now think of my Uncle Harold (RIP). - pawattExplorer86 degrees today. But has been a cooler than average Winter.

American Legion: Iwo Jima Mold - TomG2ExplorerSince we are now one week past the lowest average temperatures of the year, we can hope for warmer weather. That does not mean that I think the people already headed north this week are showing good judgment.
