First time I heard these was in the early 70's... "Save water. Shower with a friend." And "Save water. Dilute it with alcohol!" ;) ;) ;)
I only put a gallon of water in the black tank (20 gal. cap) after dumping to dilute the chemicals, and I use very little water when flushing. Why? Because I have a tiny wet bathroom-shower. I leave the lid on the toilet open when showering; not only the waiting-to-warmup water, but also much of the hair and other rinse water goes into the toilet even when taking a 'sea shower'. Then when I wipe the walls and floor, I wring the sponge over the toilet, too. So I've got plenty of water in the black tank by the time I do the next dump.
