We are looking at Rock Crusher park for the month of March 2014. We have a 35ft 5th wheel and looking for suggestions on which sites are good and those to avoid, from those that have been there. Thanks for any help.
We will be there Jan. - March 2014 and when I called to make our reservation in April, they had very few sites left. You may already be out of luck. It's a very popular place!
There are 398 sites at Rock Crusher and while some may be considered better or in better locations than others, there really are no bad ones. There are two levels to the park separated by "heart attack hill" -- called that if you're riding a bike! :) We like the upper area. Rock Crusher is as close to a state park as you're ever going to find in a private park and the only reason we stay there. We spent January there this year and really enjoyed it and the area. Lots of very friendly and welcoming people return here every year.
We are going back mainly to kayak with the manatees and to enjoy the many springs in the Crystal River area. Homosassa and Inverness have a lot to offer too. The Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park is wonderful! We biked almost the entire 45 miles of the Withlacoochee Bike Trail in Inverness and look forward to doing it again!

PS -- The original owners were bought out by a company that then defaulted and the owners got it back! They're doing a great job of running the park again and making lots of improvements. The new WiFi system worked really well all over the campground.
