Route ideas/ Campgrounds near Cape Coral, Fl, Tampa, St Pete

Planning a trip mid March from Myrtle Beach to Key West, then crossing Fl to west coast - plan to visit friends in Cape Coral, then North Point, Tampa/St Pete areas, then return back to MB. Traveling...

Have checked several state parks. Unfortunately, the ones I have tried are all booked, or the sites that remain are too small for us! I'll keep looking though. We prefer state parks to any other option. Went to the Pensacola area over Christmas time and stayed at Blackwater River State Park. It was GREAT!
