RV at Highland Lakes Campground off Highway 4 in California?

The Ebbets Pass website says it ha 35 sites for tent or RV, but says the road is steep in places and fords a creek. Anybody been up there that can give a road report if its suitable for an RV?

I have and it looks OK, but that method has burned me a few times. Just looking for some 1st had knowledge of that area.
