We always stay at trailer village in the park. Once you are there no driving. Take the shuttle which stops at the campground. You don't want to miss sunset at the park. If you get tired it's easy to go back to your rig for a rest have lunch and head out again. We have stayed outside the park. Never again. You miss the whole national park experience.
