Rainy Pass is about 5000 feet.
WA 20 normally have numerous eagles between Rockport and Marblemount where the highway follows the Skagit River.
Traffic is light from Newhalem over to Mazama area.
Fuel is a little scare. Refuel in Sedro Wooley or before. Next fuel is at Winthrop. There is a couple little stations along the way but gets pricy.
Good overlook at Washington Pass.
Steep slow downgrade from Washington Pass going by Liberty Bell mountain.
Klipchuck forest service campground at the bottom of Washington on east side.
There is a nice federal campground at Colonial Creek.
Watch the weather. next month or so the weather can change in a hurry.
