RV itinerary form Portland,Or to Port Angeles 5/23-5/28

My wife and I are taking an RV from Iowa to Alaska 5/11-6/9. We are picking friends up in Portland, Oregon 5/23, renting a car one way to Port Angeles, Washington taking the ferry to Vancouver Island...

The Olympic National Park visitor's center is in Port Angeles, and is very nice. Then take the drive up to hurricane ridge. The entrance is right next to the visitor's center. You will climb to about 5000 feet in just a few miles, and it is beautiful.
