Steve- Take a look at Boston Minuteman Campground in Littleton MA. Drive 2 miles from CG and get on train at Littleton. Directly to Boston. Ride the T as needed around the city.

Also, this CG puts you in good shape to roll north up route 1 through ME to Bar Harbor.
