If you're looking for a place somewhere between the Tetons and Glacier, you need to be looking up around Bozeman and points north, up the east side or west side of the Rockies. Which side are you going to enter Glacier?
Great Falls may have something nice.
On the other side, look at Missoula. Those are a little further than half way I think.
