RV park near Camden, NJ (near Philadelphia)
My DH was stationed on the SS New Jersey ship when he was in the Navy. It is now a museum in Camden, NJ and would like to make trip there to see it. I believe it is right across the river from Philad...

That being said, Camden itself is a very dangerous dump. It is not surprising you can't find too much camping in the Camden area. Depending on how far you or others. When you visit the SS New Jersey, please be careful traveling through the outlying areas. Once you get to the park around the river front, it is safe.
Thanks. We will probably just do a day trip then, coming up from Washington DC, and will head on out after the tour for greener pastures. Any other need-to-see things in this part of the world. I would like to go to NYC but I doubt DH will agree to that.
