RV Park Reviews

I, for one and probably only one, hate the new layout. I find it confusing and just to busy. I don't know why they felt the need to change it and have asked that they change it back.
Am I alone?

  • I just tried the new Reviews and found no pop ups or ads of any kind while using it with FireFox and add on Adblock 2.6.6
  • If that was the only 2 hours I regretted wasting, I would consider myself lucky.

While in the Marines, I'm sure I wasted a few hours here and there. If I could only remember them! LOL:h

    Awwww, the good ole days!

RV Park Reviews is still a valuable website for me.
  • I have been trying to post reviews on that thing for hours, can't get past the last page. I'm not exactly computer illiterate either. That's two hours of my life I can't get back.
  • Whenever a format is changed on any site, it is frustrating due to a change that takes time to get use to.

That said, I will continue to use RV Park Reviews, because it is the best information available when evaluating a park. A google search for specific park information sometimes provides additional information.

It's a free site, good information, I'll use it til the cows come home. I will continue to contribute information.

Eventually, I'll get use to the new format, then it will change again. That's life :B

Footnote: just added the adblock extension, no more ads, thanks for the information.

I have finally gotten used to the new layout but still hate the pop up ads.

They indicated the change was needed because the old site was having capacity issues and breaking down often.

Firefox or Chrome users with AdBlock installed don't see any ads at RVPR (or here). I don't know what ad blocking is available to IE users.
  • I hate it too and don't use it much anymore.
I used to be able to get a much bigger view of what's new but with the new format I have to move around too much.

  • You're not alone, but from the posts I've seen on the RVPR and other forums, including this one, you're very much in the minority. It took me a little time to get comfortable with it, but I've found the additional information and the addition of photos well worth the effort. My approach to site redesigns is usually "If it was like this when I first found it, would I have kept coming back?" In this case I can say, "Absolutely!"
