RV Park Reviews

We use rvparkreviews and Good Sam. Yes, read carefully. Sometimes, an unhappy dog owner may down grade a park because they do not have any grass for their dog to run around in. We travel a lot in the Southwest--not much grass anywhere. So don't expect much. Always look at the park website for photos of spaces. Then use your own judgement.

Take reviews with a grain of salt they can be useful but are not foolproof.
At some point a new park is all part of the RV adventure.

We never use it in deciding where to go. One of our goals in traveling is try to get to as many new-to-us public campgrounds as possible. Yeap, we've run into a dud or two - if that's case, one night is enough and we move on.

I have left a few reviews on rvparkreviews if I find ones that they don't have yet.

RVPark reviews is my go to place when planning a trip. Gives a great idea of the Parks as well as the nearby towns with Parks that maybe a better option for a stop over when traveling. All reviews taken with a grain of salt if negative for sure.

I use them as one of my 3 primary sources to find CGs (the others are the TL directory and this forum), and I post reviews of the CGs we've stayed in. One thing to be aware of is that any review site is bound to skew a bit negative, just because of human nature - we tend to want to air our gripes, but if things met our expectations, we often don't say anything. :)

I always post to RV Park Reviews and of course I use them as "one of several to many of the tools" I use in planning our trips. I've also collected other reviewers names over the years that tend to look at/for the same things we rate and count on them more than some others that have different interests and/or requirements.

RVPR is always the first stop for CGs in the trip planning stage. Trip Advisor is the second stop. Not as many reviews there as RVPR but more CGs are listed.

Ignore the really great reviews. Ignore the really poor reviews. Try to make sense of what is in the middle. Pay more attention to the opinion of the reviewer who has taken the trouble to post many reviews.

I use rvparkreviews all the time as well as RVParky, Allstays and for public parks, UltimateGC

I use RV Park Reviews and look for 8 or above rating. I will stay at a 7 in a crunch. I also google the city and ask for RV Parks and Camping in the area.

I have to tell you that this is good to hear....

I regularly post to RV Park Reviews. We have even been known to stop at a park just because there was no current review. One time, we found out why. (I bet the owner was not pleased.)

I also write for Trip Adviser for just the same reasons.

Can I be bought? Not likely. The owners and managers never know who I am. Could they figure it out later? Doubtful at best.
