RV Park Reviews

'm I the only one not happy with the new RV Park Reviews web site. They made an easy web
site hard to use and find out what info you were looking for

  • Use it all the time and don't have any problem. If site is currently being revised and improved, that would be the problem. Give them a few days.

Took a highly useful, user friendly site that did just about what most of us wanted and needed and made it so much "better" it's almost useless! Just finished trying to find CGs around Stuart Florida - the old maps were very easy to use - the "old way" always gave me the info I needed, literally at my fingertips, to do what I needed to do. I was so frustrated just now I almost deleted the site!

I recall using the old site, before it was purchased by Campground Reviews or RV Life, to get a list of all the campgrounds at a given distance from the town or city you enter in the search (e.g., within 20 miles of Salina, Kansas). You could choose various distances for the radius of the search. You can kind of do that now, or use the map, but not as easily. If I remember properly, you could also put other criteria on your search (full hookups, 50-amp service, etc.).
  • Hello give them a break they are working on it did you note see their note

Excuse our mess, we know this page can be better and it will be improved shortly.

  • Yeah, it is a bit more of a pain to use, but still has tons of excellent information, even if it is more of a hassle to get to. More useful than lots of others.

Totally agree with you! Used to use it all the time but they really broke it a couple years ago.
  • I like the free app; Park Advisor if you have a smart phone. It's not so much a review but it tells you the ammenities, relative cost and lots of info. Most campgrounds have reviews by users and that helps.
