Reviews that describe road conditions, routes to the campground, low hanging branches, and other tangible and potential problems are valuable for me when considering a park.
It's helpful if there is an electric problem, problems with location of utilities. Or whether the park has a lot of animal leftovers not picked up, and/or a lot of long term live-ins that impact the park.
I rely on my own internet access, restroom, etc.
A lot of information is subjective.
Reading and writing comprehension is becoming a lost art!
RVParkReviews and RVServiceReviews are another source of information that HELPS in selecting a location. I have benefited from those reviews, especially if there are numerous and recent reviews to consider.
We very seldom make reservations, but when we do it is usually for more than a week, then they become even more important!
Last 2 week stay going to a park blind, the RVParkReviews were right on target!, and we had a great stay! It took a lot of time in the surrounding area to finally locate a park we wanted to stay at that was within reasonable driving distance.
The bottom line is, they are what they are, some helpful, some not!
