To me, all information is valuable. Some negative comments might be something very specific to that particular camping situation. Might be valuable might not. I agree with a general consensus approach. Sometimes with a super high rating or a severe complaint you might want to try and read between the lines. Often it’s a camper with specific needs or wants, or a very specific situation that wouldn’t normally impact most others. I chalk those up to things to make a mental note and watch for but not as critical as to change my mind about a reservation
