But sometimes, the worst rating is a good review in my opinion. Last year, I read one that gave the park one star and said they would NEVER stay there again. Seems the owner made the camper keep his large dogs on leashes and insisted he clean up behind them. To add insult, the owner also required the camper to turn off his outside entertainment system at 10 pm. The nerve of some owners!
A 'family-friendly' park might mean that kids are allowed to run amok. I stayed at such a park once and kids were playing baseball in the road between sites. :E
If the only complaint is about the restrooms, I don't care because I don't use them, anyway.
I look for words like privacy, scenic, well-managed, etc. Not everyone looks for the same things in a campground and we need to bear that in mind.
