The RV park at White City is convenient. But just passing by it, not sure I would stay there. And the reviews on rvparkreviews.com are pretty bad.
KOA and Brantley Lake both get good reviews. But both are well north of the town of Carlsbad, and the caverns are well south of town. Good road, but 50 miles or so one way. But you probably will only do the drive one day and one time. We stayed at the KOA, and would again.
There are some other RV parks in the town of Carlsbad, but I do not know any thing about those other than the reviews on rvparkreviews.com.
