RV Parks near Monument Valley
Would appreciate any input on RV parks near monument valley that will accommodate a 35ft fifth wheel. The only thing I am finding is Gouldings and nobody seems to like that. Thank you, Dave

- Gouldings is not the best CG I've ever visited but far from the worst. If you want to visit Monument Valley it is the easiest access and the best place with hookups. If you can do without hookups the small park overlooking the mittens is the absolute best.
- I've stayed at both Gouldings and Cadillac Ranch, and unless you really need a short drive to get to Monument (for example to take nighttime photos of the monuments) I'd stay at Cadillac Ranch. If you do, drive out to Mule Canyon and see "House on Fire".

True, I don't usually exceed the speed limit, but you may want to recheck the distance again. Google Maps confirms the distance from Bluff, UT to Monument Valley is just under 50 miles...REWahoo wrote:

- I liked Gouldings just fine in August 2011. Everything was run smoothly by the staff. You can book a tour of the valley that picks you up at the campground.
- Only problem we had was isolation. No cell back then, and our daughter was expecting, We went to Flagstaff instead. That was 12 years ago. And we made it home in time
- you'll like Gouldings, and if you have time, take a look at their western movies paraphernalia.
- We stayed at Gouldings in 2003. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back there again.
