I've never paid to go to a show where they are charging me to buy something. I just go to the dealers and visit their lots. Never heard of a dealer giving anyone a 'bargain' at a RV show either. Usually people that buy at one are getting the extra costs of a show tacked onto the price.
One time I was at a dealers lot a few days after they had participated at a nearby RV show and noticed they hadn't picked up the printed price lists for the show, but they'd returned the lot price breakdown sheets. So there were fliers with two prices. One for the show was $1,000 more than the one on the lot.
There is an advantage of there being many different makes and models though and for some that would be helpful to narrow down a choice.
