RVing in Seattle Washington

Has anyone had experience RVing in or near Seattle Washington? We are looking for a park for our 35 ft Fifth wheel. Any suggestions would be helpfull. We also are looking for information on where we might be able to leave our 2 dogs while we visit downtown Seattle and the space Needle?

Thank you!

The pickins are slim in the Seattle area. Been there twice. Both times staying at the Dash Point SP. Very nice CG but a bit of a drive to downtown.

Impressive you could get your 5er into Dash Point, it's spots are mostly really small.

Since I live in the region I really haven't used any campgrounds in the metro area.

But they are few and far between. There are a handful north along SR-99, there are a handful to the east, across the lake and there are a handful south (KOA, Dash Point SP), plus more down around Tacoma.

What are your actual plans? There is actually little "Tourist" stuff in Seattle (Seattle Center, Pike's Street Market). Most is north (Boeing tour), south (Museum of Flight), east, west...
  • Lake Pleasant in Bothel. Tall Chief in Fall City. Trailers Inn in Bellview. These are your 3 best bets. IMHO
