Keep in mind some campground has an area outside their gates for folks arriving early...
We have stopped at participating WALMARTS many of times.. Some places are even better being Bass Pro Shops that has areas set aside for RV parking.. We always picked out well lit areas to park... There are always churches, RV Sales lots, Police Station parking lots, Road Side rest areas, just to name a few... We have even parked behind hotels with permission...
Never liked doing this at Truck Stops. Too much walking traffic for us - someone banging on your door all night long wanting to wash your truck or something like that hehe...
We always ask if we can park if possible...
Of course if you park at a WALMART you will want to shop in the there too... That was probably the original scheme of things...
