Santa Cruz (Watsonville) KOA
Has anyone stayed at this park? If so how did you like it? We are looking to go there the first weekend in Oct because it looks like a fun place for the kids and still close enough to Santa Cruz...

Checked into the New Brighton grounds and as you all said, they are all booked up for the weekends. But looking at Google maps, it will be going on our list of possible spots in the future.
The KOA is expensive but still cheaper than a hotel room and we do have two small boys 6 & 1 so I think it will be worth the $80-$100/night (depending on our site).
Any other alternatives in the area?
Do you need hookups for a weekend?
There's another KOA north of Santa Cruz near pescadero. Again I haven't been, but from others have said its a typical KOA.
Also a full hookup park closer to Montery in Marina.
