It's expensive, but it's a nice park. We only go there to use their dump station once in a while; one of the kids had a class party there at the pool. Just go and enjoy. As far as going to the beach nearby, just south of Manresa State Beach (not the campground) there is a street on the beach side of San Andreas Rd., you can park at the end of the street there for free and walk down some steps to the beach. I wouldn't walk with the kids on San Andreas Rd. to the beach from the campground. Rio Del Mar and Seacliff also has a lot of free places to park where you can walk to the beach. It's good to know that the KOA finally got cable TV, last time we visited someone there it wasn't available.
