Santa Rosa RV Park Santa Rosa NM

At the Santa Rosa RV Park in Santa Rosa NM the power pedestal has one 50 amp and one 30 amp outlet. The sites are back to back so it allows one 30 amp camper and one 50 amp. To accommodate two 30 amp campers they put another 30 amp outlet on the outside of the pedestal, I guess that's ok. The 30 amp outlet for my site was the one on the outside, ok so far, however it was so loose that it would not make contact unless you held it in. I mentioned to the owner that it should be changed and he got all bent out of shape and said the already repaired it. I told him it didn't work and he insisted there was nothing wrong. His attitude changed big time after that. So if you ever stay there don't challenge him on the status of your electrical
  • How did it work out for you? Did you get your power somehow? Could you convince him to come to site and look at it?

I appreciate campground reviews good and bad...
  • I just plugged into the other 30A outlet and the guy that pulled in next to me used a dog bone one the 50A so it all worked out. If he hadn't had a dogbone so I could have used mine
  • The last time I was at that park it was basically deserted. It has went down since the first time I stopped there in 1999 or 2000. Told the DW that we will not be stopping there again. JMO
  • We stay at the Santa Rosa State Park. It has good power and is very quiet with well spaced sites.
