Savanah in Feb. Where?

Hardeeville CG in SC 10 minutes to downtown Savannah, stayed there for St Patty's Day last year.

Skidaway Island State Park is pretty popular too. We will be spending 2 nights in Savannah ourselves on the way down to Florida in mid February.

We stayed in Skidaway State Park with our Lab mix dog. It is a great park with a dog, also found the drive to town not to be a problem. I would highly recommend it.

Is skidaway fhu? Red gate appears to get good reviews and is close to savannah.

Skidaway Island is a great park with an easy, short ride into Savannah. And yes, they recently upgraded the park and there are terrific, large rig, pull thru FHU sites.

Be warned: St. Patrick's Day celebration is BIG in Savannah.

It must be if they start celebrating in February...lol

X5 for Skidaway. Very nice.

x6 for Skidaway. Was there for the day over Christmas vacation and thought it looked fantastic. Didn't get done what I wanted so am heading back soon for two nights of camping to make sure I have time to relax and really enjoy the park.

After you leave the park, it's only one big new bridge, a couple miles then you are on a nice dual lane parkway with limited access and no traffic lights until you are almost to town.
