Check out Hardeeville RV Thomas parks in Hardeeville SC. Its a Passport America park and Savannah is only about 4 miles away. Early spring the sand gnats are terrible and will eat you alive so have lots of deet bug repellant on hand. We had to keep our windows and door shut because they are so small they can go thru the screen. Had to use our vacuum to get them from around any light that was on. We were there late March 2014.
P.S. I would put this park on par with a state park, dirt roads and trees etc. so if you want a nice upscale park go with Hilton Head harbor RV. VERY nice.
Thanks Ken. In my research and reading it looked like HH Harbor Resort was more up our alley.
