someone mentioned Red Gate, I stayed there last spring and found it a nice place to stay if you want full hookups. I actually chose it because my DD and SIL were attending a wedding there and so the location was perfect for me to babysit and dogsit while they participated in wedding festivities. Nice open field for children/dogs to play, and several roads through farms to walk. Was a play area but I didn't look too closely as granddaughter was only about 8 months old, so too young for playground. It was convenient location and worked for us. Considered Skidaway but it just wasn't as convenient a location for that trip. Previous trip, Skidaway was under construction and there was no water available the week I was going to be there, so I decided to pass and stayed at Fort McCallister State Park instead. It was fine for what I had, although it would have been nice to have had sewer connections. Didn't have children with me, so never tried TV or playground, but there appeared to be a number of families in park.
