W hat is the closest and best campground in Savannah, GA to see the sights

We've been to Skidaway which is certainly a nice park, but actually prefer Fort McAllister State Park in nearby Richmond Hill (just south of Savannah). We found it easier to get to the historic area of Savannah from Fort McAllister SP.
