Scenic Route from NYC to Indian Lake, NY to Saranac Lake NY
Not towing anything just want a leisurely road trip with a stop at a Walmart's or similar for provisions. TIA!

Not towing anything and haven't made my car reservation yet.....prolly will be a Toyota Sienna or Honda Odyssey.
We'll be tent camping on the islands and will need to rent boats at each lake so they won't be towed either:).
Living in Manhattan currently and since it's not car friendly we generally rent a car when we need one.
The 1930's era parkways in this region aren't RV friendly for the most part but sure are pretty; one of my favs is the Merrit.
