Scooter in RV park?

I used one of these on my Kymco. Simple, light, small enough to keep under the seat when not in use.

Abus Granite Extreme is VERY expensive and supposedly the best chain out there.
There are a ton of videos on it. Like others have mentioned, if they really want it, they are going to take it. Make it as difficult as possible. Put an ABUS set up on it, and a motion alarm.

Locks

I've heard that the square chain is harder to cut with bolt cutters.

I'd probably pair it up with a decent pad lock and call it a day. If they want it, nothing will stop them. Maybe cover it also.

I have already called the park and it is more then welcome. My scooter is very quite my Diesel truck is very loud.

GOOD INSURANCE!! and a lock and chain. I have a Burgman 650 I tow behind my TC. My scoot is almost 600 pounds and has handle bar lock to keep it from being rolled off.

If you have specific parks in mind check their rules. Some we have been to only allowed scooters and motorcycles from your site to the gate, not around the park.

I use a Xena disk lock with motion alarm. Of course they could ignore the alarm and lift it with a couple of guys- in a van and gone. They steal motorcycles from underground parking in condos this way. All you can do is make it a little more difficult and hope they take easier pickings. I don't think scooters are prime targets, unlike sport bikes.
