Can anyone tell me any tips and tricks to going to Scottsdale in winter? My mother turned 90 and must see her this winter. I'm wanting to know any nice RV parks close to Scottsdale, maybe fairly quiet...

Thanks everyone, really great tips and also warnings od what not to do. I plan on going to Scottsdale right after the first of January depending on snow storms heading south out of Oregon. I usually never make reservations, but this is an ever changing world we live in. I don't mind winter travel either.
