They have what are called Duck Tours which might be kind of fun. An amphibious vehicle that does part of the tour on land down town and part in the water.
Points valid about where to stay. LP by far the best choice. Kent KOA was kind of dumpy last time I drive through. Might be better now.
The KOA in Kent has gotten very trashy. Dirty and unkept the last three times we went there. Did not stay because of it.
