You could arrive and park in back and walk (5 min) to museum then eat (if you want) then overnight (if your brave) or head south on I-5 (on ramp next light down) to Tacoma to L&L 47.242515, -122.349668 which is:

They let you overnight there. Their betting on you spending some gambling. They do have a good Sunday Brunch IMO.
That would put you closer to Lemay's place and Freighthouse.
In the other thread the OP started, s/he chastised me for mentioning places to eat in the Freighthouse, so be careful veering from campground recommendations.
