Please do not let this degenerate into a useless thread or cause it to get closed.
I would suggest anyone with a seasonal site or who frequents the campground regularly ask for a meeting with campground management to ask why the policy is such that the guards can't do more than stand there. There may be legal issues involved or the campground just doesn't want to take on the liability of some Rambo going overboard. I'd also suggest that the handouts with all the info on them be kept inside and handed out as needed. If this was a one-time occurrence I wouldn't get too worried but if you see a trend then it is time for some action.
