One of the park's guards also works loss prevention at a nearby supermarket where he said he is allowed to take the necessary measures to detain someone. He said it is the park's policy not to detain.
This park is totally fenced and the vehicle entrance is gated. The person whose space was violated said he'd be talking to management. One must have the code to get in and out the two pedestrian gates. What bothers me is that this is a park that charges $115 a night - pretty pricey - and we should have better security than a monitor to stand around and watch but not detain for the police. Chula Vista PD was called but they didn't get there in time to deal with her.
Too bad some of you don't see any problem with her trespassing in an RV park. Guess if she were in your backyard and it was your wife confronting her it would be a different story.
WHy in the world was your wife confronting her. THAT WAS DANGEROUS if the lady was deranged. Never put your self in harms way for someone sleeping in your chair. I see the problem with trespassing if it was a trespass. But I would hate to read that your loved on got stabbed by a lunatic. Some things you have to let go
BTW, when the neighbor advised the front desk of what took place he got the impression they couldn't care less. Seems to be the policy: Pay your money, park your rv, and don't bother us. We obviously must take care of ourselves.
