We are planning our road trip and our first stop is the Shenandoah Valley, VA & WVA. What are the must see and do in this area? Please share!!! ;) Thank you!

The Shenandoah River State Park in VA has a nice modern RV campground with water and electric at each site. Large level sites. Nice views of the mountains and access to the River.

We are headed to Shenandoah Acres this Memorial Day. One of my camping buddies used to go there as a kid, they have since closed and just recently reopened, if I remember correctly. He loved the place and has been pushing us to go for some time now.Luray Caverns is down there, but its a disappointment to me because I still remember the Carlsbad Caverns. My wife liked it. Its beautiful country out there, plenty of views from Skyline Dr, hiking and biking as well.

Anmacc, It may help if you list some of your interests. Historical, caverns, hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, wineries, restaurants, festivals, arts, etc. Have a fun trip.

We like trying new things and going new places. If we tell what we like we are programming the responses. We are open minded, adventurous, spontaneous people,with lots of interests and hobbies.
