Shrinking Canadian dollar
Wondering how the state of the Canadian dollar will effect other Canadians travel plans. It has made our site rental jump from $3,200 American to a payment of $4,022.60 Canadian. ouch!

Yikes: We have reservations at a very nice park overlooking the water of a very well stocked lake on the Ausable river in Michigan in 2 weeks on a pull through 50 amp full hookup site for $26 per night.
Add in the savings on diesel fuel, cheaper food and drinks and the cost of our week vacation will be likely less than if we stayed in Canada.
BTW I can get to this beautiful area of Michigan in 3.5 hours while it takes me 8-10 hours to get to Muskoka or Algonquin. Terrain and land remind me of each of the other areas,
