- The_TexanExplorerWhere is it?
- usnretExplorerThe location of the park is Appache Junction, AZ. (Texan, thanks for reminding me that everyone may not be familiar with that park.)
If you have other recommendations for that general area, please pass them along.
Thanks,
Jim -USNRET - SGTJOEExplorer IIJim, down the road is Tucson and since you are retired Military you might look at Davis Monthen (sp?) AFB in Tucson. Really one of the best Military Fam Camps going. We spent a month there last Winter and even though it is AF there sure where a lot of old Sea Dawgs there for the Winter.
- usnretExplorerThanks Joe, I'll check it out.
Jim - rmevExplorerwe live in AJ. The sierra Del Saguaro RV Resort is mostly manufactured homes and trailers. They aren't known as a RV park but do have some open spaces for RV's. The area is good and easy access to wherever you want to go. Some parks like these are not friendly to RV's. There are a lot of great parks, large and small, north on Ironwood. Look north of Apache Trail. One that comes to mind is Santa Fe RV. It is a smaller park with limited amenities but has pool and shuffle board and club house activities.
- usnretExplorerMev,
