Not sure if the sand gnats reach up to skidaway, but down near Brunswick they can be bad at that time of year. We are originally from Georgia...February can be a toss up. If I tell you to take a windbreaker, you might need a goose down coat or a bikini...You can wear long johns at Christmas this year and shorts next year... just depends...be prepared...
