Scenic is more primitive like Cades Cove, if your looking for a pool your going to be in a less scenic place but not horrible. Lots of nice places on RT. 321 into Gatlinburg. I've stayed at Imagination Mountain, Family owned, nice river through the middle, there are some that look more high end but I haven't camped in.
