Beautiful park, was a WW II Navy site on the Pend Oreille Lake north of Coeur d'Alene and southe of Sandpoint. Easy lake access, numerous hiking and biking trails, not far from Silverwood Theme Park which has it's own rv park, most likely with hookups.
Your right it is a Beautiful place.
My uncle went through Boot Camp there in 1942. He then was on Aircraft Carriers in the Pacific to the end of the war.
The Visitors Center had a picture of him and his Company 51, 12th Battalion, 3rd Regiment and for about $20 sent me a copy ! How cool is that ?
