I have that Windy Nation kit. Installed it in the spring, and camped two separate weeks with no hookups. Never dropped below 12.5 v on the battery, and we didn't conserve electricity. But, we aren't huge electric users, either. Water pump, lights.

Not sure where you saw $180 for the kit, though. I paid $214, then saw it for $160 a couple months later, but that only lasted about a week.
I like the kit. Came with everything you need for what you are wanting to do. I did a no-screw mount on my trailer, so I got some aluminum bracing, and some 3m VHB tape. Still on, after 3000 miles of travel.
